Psychogeriatrician

Dr Alexa Srzich is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Psychiatry and a member of the Faculty of Psychiatry of Old Age.

Dr Srzich has expertise in general psychiatry, psychiatry of the elderly and neuropsychiatry.

Particular areas of interest include the assessment and treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders (including obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), cognitive disorders (as the result of possible dementia, head injury or other neurological conditions) and psychotic disorders.

Dr Srzich also deals with medico-legal issues related to the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act (i.e. competency and testamentary capacity).  He also evaluates and assists patients with regard to war pensions.
