Dr Raymond Kim

Mr. Ray Kim is an academic rhinologist, sub-specialising in advanced sinus surgery, and skull base surgery. He completed Otolaryngology Head and Surgery training in New Zealand, and spent a further year at Stanford University Hospital in U.S.A. receiving subspecialty training in advanced rhinology. He has equally strong interests in research and received his doctorate degree (PhD) with the thesis titled, ‘Charaterizing the subepithelial mucosa in chronic rhinosinusitis: influences of microbes and innate immunity’.

He practices between Auckland City Hospital, Mauranui Clinic and Gilles Hospital, and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland.
