I am a LMC working in East Auckland, running my clinic from Botany Downs Birthing Unit on a Wednesday morning. I have been a midwife for 34 years and I have 3 grown up children and 2 grandchildren! I am a Christian and offer an experienced, empathetic, caring, fun, direct and practical approach. I am originally from South Africa and have been in New Zealand since 2004. I support births both at Middlemore Hospital and Botany Downs Birthing unit. I have a great success rate supporting women keen on natural births but always with the view to a safe outcome, I consult with the Obstetric Dr's when needed and ensure that all kinds of pain relief, if needed, are available.
