Residential clients make a contribution towards costs.

Access to this service must come via referral from a South Canterbury DHB Mental Health & Addiction service.

This service is for individuals 20 years and over with a primary diagnosis of moderate to severe alcohol and/or other drug dependency.

Description

Social Detoxification

Social detoxification is a non-medical detox, for someone who does not require a medical intervention. Planned Social Detoxification is provided at the House or in people's own homes. It is via referral from the SCDHB A&OD service.

Access to this service must come via referral from any source including: GP, DHB, Social services and  self referral. Acceptance will be subject to the management and team at Caroline House.
