Matanga Whai Ora Te Ara Rau Service

This is a free service for individuals 10 years and over suffering from mild to moderate mental health issues providing brief intervention and facilitation of packages of care. What We Do: Assist you/ Whānau to identify any issues that may impact on your hinengaro- wellbeing. Provide information about services currently provided within your local area. Support you to access services relevant to your need. Work with you/ Whānau to plan an individualised flexible package of care to meet your identified need.

Te Ara Rau service provides brief intervention therapy. You can access this service if you are experiencing psychological distress if you meet one of the following:-

  • Anyone with a Community Services Card
  • Any youth between 10 to 24 years
  • Māori
  • Pacific Islander

We take self referrals; you can make contact with us and we can complete a referral over the phone with you.
