Early Intervention Services or EIS provides a specialist, multidisciplinary, recovery-focused service to young adults aged 15 to 30, experiencing their first episode of psychosis. Key principles in an early psychosis service include early detection and intervention, a recovery approach, engagement, whānau involvement, developmental focus and minimising secondary trauma.
