I have been in practice as a consultant psychiatrist as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists since 1995. I have been in part time private practice at Bexley Clinic since 1997.

In consulting with patients I believe it is important to understand their presenting problems in the context of their lives. I encourage patients to discuss diagnoses and any treatment recommendations with me initially and throughout my contact with them.

Areas of Work

I see many patients with Mood Disorders (depression and bipolar disorder), Psychoses including schizophrenia and Anxiety Disorders. I have six years experience in Forensic Psychiatry including preparing reports for the courts and for legal counsel. I conduct assessments and treatment for the Accident Compensation Corporation and also consult in the area of Traumatic Brain Injury and its psychiatric consequences. I have extensive experience in Psychiatric Assessments relating to Immigration.
