Profile

Angela is a medical oncologist at Harbour Cancer & Wellness, with expertise in gastrointestinal tract cancers and primary brain tumours. She also works at Te Pūriri o Te Ora - Regional Blood and Cancer Services at Auckland City Hospital and is involved with the hospital’s Molecular Tumour Board.

Angela completed her medical oncology specialisation in Auckland and became a fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2019. She subsequently accepted a clinical research fellowship at the Auckland Cancer Trials Centre, focusing on early phase trials. She proceeded to undertake a second research fellowship at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, where she was involved in early drug development research, neuro-oncology and tumour sequencing.

Committed to ensuring patients receive excellent care, Angela works closely with the multidisciplinary team, and involves patients and their whānau in the decision-making process.
