Jo emigrated from the UK to NZ in 2006 and having married a Cantabrian, chose to settle in Christchurch in 2012. Jo graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2001 and began training in O&G in the Mersey Region.

After moving to Auckland and spending 7 years there, she completed her later specialist training years at Christchurch Women’s Hospital. She has many years experience working in large secondary and tertiary units in the UK and NZ as well as smaller centres in New Plymouth and Blenheim.

Jo strives to provide a compassionate woman-centred model of care, putting you first and collaborating with other health professionals such as your GP, midwife, physiotherapist and osteopath. Jo is passionate about women’s health and gender equality in meeting the health needs of 51% of the population.

Jo utilises conservative, medical and surgical therapies to treat a wide range of women’s health issues.

Jo is particularly interested in minimal access surgery, including hysteroscopic and laparoscopic operative procedures.
