After completing his medical school training in New York, Dr Bloom finished his four year residency specialty training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 1989 at The University of Rochester.
He began his medical career working as the Associate Medical Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Moses Cone Hospital and in 1998 became the founder and Medical Director of The Center for Mind-Body Medicine.
Dr Bloom is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and a Fellow of The American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
He is the only hypnotist in New Zealand who is Board Certified in Hypnosis by the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association. He also has a Diploma of Advanced Hypnotherapy, and a Certificate of NLP for Hypnotherapists. Read more about Dr Bloom here
