Profile
Tony trained in Cape Town South Africa and moved to Aotearoa NZ in 1988. He spent 14 years as a GP, before branching out to Sport and Exercise Medicine. There were stints in Melbourne at Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre over 3 years as well as being team doctor for Richmond Tigers and Collingwood Magpies before returning home. He was team doctor for Canterbury Rugby and Crusaders before looking after the All Blacks from 2013 to 2020. Since then he has been doing match Day Doctor duties and is a World Rugby International Concussion Consultant.
Tony was an early adopter of point of care ultrasound and runs an injection clinic on Fridays.
