Prior to beginning Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) training I have worked in :

• General practice in Perth, Western Australia
• plastic surgery at Middlemore Hospital
• paediatric surgery at Starship Hospital
• general and trauma surgery at Auckland Hospital.

This gave me a broad and useful skill base to take into my advanced training in ENT, first in Dunedin and finally Christchurch.

After obtaining my fellowship, I worked as a consultant surgeon at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary in Scotland, developing my subspecialty interests.
