For people living in the Auckland District Health Board (DHB), Waitemata DHB and Counties Manukau DHB areas, first trimester medical and surgical abortion services, including counselling and contraception services, are publicly funded.

How do I access these services?

Self-referrals and referrals from healthcare practitioners to abortion services are accepted. For more information and to request an appointment, please contact:

Fees and Charges Description

For people living in the Auckland District Health Board (DHB), Waitemata DHB and Counties Manukau DHB areas, first trimester medical and surgical abortion services at Epsom Day Unit and Auckland Medical Aid Centre are publicly funded.

For people who are not eligible for publicly funded health services, services will incur costs:
