Te Whatu Ora - Lakes Orthotics services are provided by QE Health.

 

What is Orthotics?

Orthotics is the branch of medicine that deals with the provision and use of splints and braces for the entire body, covering paediatric to geriatric needs.

Referral Expectations

QE Health is under contract to Te Whatu Ora Lakes to provide Orthotic services to the Lakes District. 

You may be referred by Lakes or another medical practitioner.

Fees and Charges Description

New Zealand citizens or those who have obtained permanent residence are entitled to publicly funded health care. Most orthotic services are provided free of charge, a part user charge does apply in some circumstances.

Non-residents may be required to pay for their health care.
