Dr Anthony Tam is a highly regarded dermoscopist, GP and dermatologic surgeon with a strong interest in the detection and treatment of skin cancer. Born in Auckland and completing his medical degree at Otago University, he set up Skinsite clinic to deliver an expert, yet affordable service in the early detection of skin cancers, mole removal, acne and skin treatment, as well as cosmetic dermatology. 

Dr Tam assisted in writing the Clinical Diagnosis chapter for the latest Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Management of Cutaneous Melanoma in Australia and New Zealand. Most recently he co-authored a paper with Professor Scott Menzies and others on the dermoscopic evaluation of nodular melanoma, which is to be published in the Archives of Dermatology.

Dr Tam is a Clinical Advisor for the Melanoma Foundation and is an Honorary Clinical tutor for the Dermatology department at Cardiff University.
